The Hazard Hotel / Restaurant was situated on Main Road at West Lulworth. The building was previously known as Glenroy.

The hotel included 30 bedrooms.

Hazard Hotel Proprietors:

  • 1929 – Guy Thornhill Iremonger (1889-1972) & Sophia Arabella Iremonger nee Randall (1881-1965)

  • 1931-1935: Harry Stanley Dyke (1905-1982) – Harry served as a Quartermaster Sergeant in the Army Catering Corps during WW2 – he later converted the former coal store at the Cove into the Beach Cafe
  • 1939-1943 – John Edward Wilson Claridge (1905-1993) & Frances Ellen Elizabeth Claridge

The hotel was renamed as the Lulworth Hotel by 1947.

The hotel building is now three terraced properties.

Hazard Restaurant Proprietors:

  • 1919-1927: Miss Randall & Mrs. Anne Josephine Vaughan Lewes nee Tulloch (1866-1925).

The restaurant was removed.
