This is the last Will and Testament of me Matthew Randall of West Lulworth in the County of Dorset ffarmer and Innholder made and published this eighth day of November one thousand eight hundred and thirty six ffirst I direct that all my just debts funeral and testamentary expenses be paid and discharged by my Executors hereinafter named then I give devise and bequeath unto my wife Elizabeth Randall All that messuage and tenement or Inn called the Red Lion Inn in West Lulworth aforesaid with the Cellars Brewhouses Stables fuelhouse yard hereditaments and premises thereto belonging and adjoining and occupied therewith being partly Copyhold and partly leasehold together with All other my freehold leasehold or Copyhold Messuages lands hereditaments and premises and all and every their rights members and appurtenances And all and singular the rest residue and remainder of my live and dead farming stock stock in trade household goods and furniture monies & securities for money real and Personal Estate and Effects whatsoever and wheresoever & of what nature kind or quality soever which I shall be possessed of or otherwise entitled to at the time of my decease To hold the same and every part thereof unto my said wife Elizabeth Randall for and during the term of her natural life provided she shall so long continue my Widow and unmarried And fro and immediately after her decease or day of her second marriage which shall first happen then as to for and concerning All that my said messuage dwelling house or Inn called the Red Lion Inn in West Lulworth aforesaid with the Cellars Brewhouses Stables fuelhouse yard hereditaments and premises thereto belonging and adjoining and occupied therewith being partly copyhold and partly leasehold  as aforesaid I give devise and bequeath the same and every part thereof unto my Son William Randall his heirs executors admors and assigns for all the then residue and remainder of my Estate right title and interest therein respectively to and for his and their own use and benefit And as to for and concerning All other my said freehold leasehold and copyhold messuages lands heredits and premises and all and every their rights members and appurtenances And all and singular the rest residue and remainder of my live and dead farming stock stock in trade household goods and furniture monies & securities for money real and personal estate and effects whatsoever and wheresoever & of what nature kind or quality soever which I shall be possessed of or otherwise entitled to at the time of my decease (so devised to my said Wife for life or during her Widowhood as aforesaid)I give devise and bequeath the same and every part thereof unto my Sons the said William Randall and Thomas Randall and Edward Randall their heirs executors admors and assigns for ever according to the nature of the property equally to be divided between them as tenants in common and not as joint tenants And I appoint my said Sons William Randall Thomas Randall and Edward Randall Executors in trust of this my Will hereby revoking all other Wills heretofore by me made and do declare this only to be my last Will and Testament In Witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal the day and year first above written Mattw Randall

The will of Matthew RANDALL - 8 November 1836

The will of William RANDALL - 8 August 1782

This is the last Will and Testament of me William Randall of West Lulworth in the County of Dorset Malster and Victualler made and published this Eighth Day of August in the Year of our Lord Christ One thousand Seven Hundred and Eighty Two (as follows) First I give and devise unto my Wife Bridget All that my Copyhold Messuage Tenement or Dwelling House ...situate in West Lulworth aforesaid wherein I now live together with the Outhouses Garden Stable and Appurtenances to the same belonging To have and To hold the same unto her my said Wife and her Assigns for and during the Term of her natural Life And from and immediately after her Decease I give and devise the same and every Part thereof unto my son Matthew To hold the same unto my said son Matthew  and his assigns for and during the Term of his natural Life and from and immediately after his Decease in Case my son Robert should then be living I give and devise the same and every Part thereof unto and amongst all and every my Children that shall then be living equally to be held and enjoyed between them during the natural life of my said Son Robert upon whose life only the same will be then held I give and bequeath unto my four sons by my late Wife Mary, Thomas, William, Robert and John Twenty Pounds apiece to be paid to them by my Executrix hereinafter named at the end of twelve Months next after my Decease I also give unto my said Son Thomas my silver watch given by my late Father I also give and bequeath unto my Daughter Jane forty pounds , unto my Daughter Elizabeth Forty Pounds and unto my Daughter Mary thirty pounds to be paid unto my said Daughters by my Executrix hereinafter named at the end of twelve Months next after my Decease I also give and bequeath unto my said Son Matthew  Fifty pounds to be paid to him by my Executrix hereinafter named at the end of twelve Months next after my Decease I also give unto my four sons by my former Wife after my present Wife’s Decease a Bed, Bedstead, a pair of Sheets, pair of Blanketts and Quilt or Rug each (part of my Household Goods and Furniture hereinafter mentioned) I also give and bequeath unto all my Sons equally to be divided between them my Wearing Apparel of every sort and kind Lastly my Household Goods and Furniture of every sort and kind (except what I have hereinbefore given to my said four sons after my said Wife’s decease of which she is to have the use only during her Life) Stock in Trade Debts Sum and Sums of Money to me owing or the security for the same and all other my Personal Estate and Effects whatsoever and wheresoever I give devise and bequeath unto my said Wife Bridget and her Assigns for ever to be at her own disposal And I do hereby charge the whole of my Personal Estate and Effects with the Payments of the Legacies and all my just debts and Funeral Expences And I do hereby nominate constitute and appoint my said Wife Bridget sole Executrix of this my said last Will In Witness whereof I the said Testator William Randall have to this my said last Will set my hand and affixed my Deal the Day and Year above written

I William Randall of West Lulworth in the County of Dorset Malster and Victualler do this eighteenth Day of March one thousand seven hundred and ninety three make and publish this as a Codicil to my last Will and Testament whereas in and by my said Will I have given and bequeathed unto my Daughter Elizabeth the Sum of Forty Pounds Now I do hereby revoke and make void the said Bequest and instead thereof I do hereby give and bequeath unto my said Daughter Elizabeth now the Wife of John Carter of Weymouth Mariner the sum of Fifty Pounds to be paid her by my Executrix in my said Will named at the End of twelve Months next after my Decease _ And I do hereby order and direct that when and as soon as my Son Matthew shall come into the Possession of and be entitled to my Copyhold Messuage Tenement or Dwellinghouse within mentioned with the Appurtenances by Virtue of my said Will before written he shall during the time he should be entitled to the same (that is to say) during his natural Life pay unto her my said Daughter Elizabeth the yearly sum of three pounds by half yearly Payments the first payment thereof to be made at the End of six Months after the Decease of my said Wife Bridget (in case she shall happen to survive me) being the time my said Son Matthew will become entitled to the said Messuage or Dwellinghouse and Premises And I do hereby confirm all the Rest of my said Will and the Appointment of my said Wife Executrix In Witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand & seal the day and year above written Wm Randall
